Aunt May is Dead... Long live Aunt May! VS. The Govenator!
On one hand Spidey needs Aunt May around. I don't buy for a second that Mary Jane can cook. Petey definitely did not marry a domestic goddess. Our Spidey revalation of the day is the tale in which Aunt May finally dies. Amazing Spiderman #400 was one for the ages. It had the pathos of the death of Harry Osborn; the only thing it lacked was its finality.
Thats right, Like in Princess Bride, Aunt May wasn't all dead.. she was only mostly dead. Actually, she wasn't dead at all.. the Aunt May that died in this story was an actress.. no real Aunt Mays were harmed in the making of this premium covered turkey. Apparently, Petey loved his dear old Aunt May sooo much he couldn't tell when the Green Gobling swapped her with an actress. For that reason alone I close this book and as I roll my eyes include in as #4 on the top five worst Spidey yarns ever. PS.. She always knew he was Spiderman. peh.

On Batman's report card we have this blemish. Not even Denny O'Neil could polish up the piece of pooh stick that was Batman and Robin the movie. Mr. Freeze still looked like Arnold and the awkward lines between Bruce and Dick were hard to read just like they were hard to listen too. Denny did seem to try to clean up some of the lesser plot points, (all of them were lesser plot points) but I refuse to watch that movie again to verify. I'm sure any of you who watched that movie can forgive me that.
